Teaching / Research Experience
  • She has been teaching English language, phonetics, linguistics and literature to students with heterogeneous skill levels, from various educational backgrounds and different age groups. In the course of teaching high school and under graduate students, she has acquired advanced levels of proficiency in curriculum design, preparation of study material, project design for academic and research purposes, designing examination papers and evaluating answer scripts, preparing question banks, training students in research methodology, editing an academic law journal.

  • "Ms. Pratima Dube presented a paper titled "Womanism: An Inspiration to Indian/Asian Women" at the UGC National Seminar on African American Women Writers with a special tribute to Maya Angelou, held on 22nd and 23rd January 2015 bt AMA organized by Department of English, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad-380009. Her paper was very well received by the audience."

  • Empanelled by DECU (Development of Educational Communication Unit) of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), Ahmedabad as an Anchor, Presenter & Commentator. She has lent her voice to a documentary film made by ISRO, about relief and rehabilitation of 2001 Gujarat earth quake - affected villages.
  • Prizes in essay-writing, debate, poetry recitation, group discussion, plays and other competitions.
  • Certificate of proficiency at the Winter Military Training Camp held at Bhonsala Military School, Nasik, Nov.1980.
  • Simultaneous Interpretation: Ms. Pratima Dube has provided simultaneous interpretation service to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat Smt. Anandiben Patel, from Gujarati to English, at the Foundation-laying ceremony of the Maruti Suzuki Vehicle Manufacturing Plant coming up at Hansalpur village, Bahucharaji Taluka, Gujarat held on 28 January 2015."
  • Passed in first class all India Bengali Exams. (10th position) conducted by Nikhil Bharat Banga Bhasha Prachar Samiti, Calcutta.
  • Three months certificate course in MS Office computer course from Swaminarayan trust, Halvad.
  • Simultaneous Interpretation Services: She has provided Simultaneous Interpretation Services from Hindi to English at the vibrant Gujarat global Investor's summit 2013, which was held on 11th January and 12th January 2013.She interpreted the speech of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi from Hindi to English.
  • Simultaneous Interpretation Services: She has provided simultaneous interpretation services at the National Inclusive Urban Development Summit held on 17th October 2013 where she interpreted all speeches simultaneously from Hindi to English which included the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi's speech.
Other Accomplishments
  • Ms. Pratima Dube has provided simultaneous interpretation services to the Hon. Chief Minister of Gujarat, Smt. Anandiben Patel at the Vibrant Gujarat International Travel Mart held on 19th February 2016 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. She interpreted her speech from Gujarati/Hindi into English.
  • "Ms. Pratima Dube has provided interpretation services (both simultaneous and consecutive) to mentors, catalysts and change makers in English and Hindi at a two day event called 'Global Action on Poverty' held at Gujarat Vidyapith and Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram on 12th and 13th March 2015, Her services were appreciated by participants."
