• Half day Conference on Capacity Building Workshop on ‘Role of Legal stakeholders in Strengthening and Implementation of the Biological Diversity Act with Special Focus on ABS Provisions’ 27 September 2014.
  
• Capacity Building Workshop on “Role of legal Stakholders in strengthening and implementation of the biological Diversity Act with special focus on ABS provisions” under the aegis of National Project on Access and benefit sharing under the UNEP-GEF-MoEF project on strengthening the implementation of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 and Rules 2004. On 16th May 2015.  

Training Programmes

• Induction programme for newly recruited faculties 28 -29 June, 2013 : Institute of Law Nirma University hosts an induction training program for newly recruited faculty . The orientation program was conducted for 2 days.
  
• 1st workshop of RWS for faculty members of IL-NU was organized on August 30, 2013. The areas of workshop were: (1) Legal Research Models (2) Relevant methodology for each Model Prof. Vidyut Joshi and Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal delivered expert lectures during the session.
• 2nd workshop of RWS for faculty members of IL-NU was organized on September 12, 2013. The area covered in the workshop were: 1) Legal Research Trends 2) Ethical Issues in Research Prof. Vidyut Joshi and Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal delivered expert lectures during the session.
• 3rd workshop of RWS for faculty members of IL-NU was organized on September 21, 2013. The areas of workshop were:
• 1. Scientific Temperament 2. Research Design Prof. Vidyut Joshi delivered an expert lecture during the session
• A Training Program on MOODLE (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment): A Training Program for use of MOODLE as a part of Faculty Enrichment Programme was held on December 26, 2013 for the benefit of ILNU Faculty members. Moodle is an open-source online learning software (course management system) designed to help educators create quality online courses and manage learner outcomes. It equips Faculty members to create online courses, develop assessment components such as quizzes, multiple choice questions etc and also allows for student assignment submissions. The training was conducted by Prof. Gaurang Raval, Institute of Technology, Nirma University.
• Brainstorming Session for ILNU Faculty : A Brainstorming sessions on 'Enhancement of Research Aptitude' were conducted separately for Non-Law and Law Faculty members on 5 & 9 December, 2013 respectively by Prof. Vidyut Joshi.
• FACULTY ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME: OUTBOUND TRAINING PROGRAMME: A Faculty Enrichment Program was organized from the 26th of December to the 3rd of January, 2014 and it covered topics like Moodle training, Faculty research plan, course planning, clinical approach, industry involvement in teaching and learning, use of ICT in teaching and learning and use of online databases for effective teaching and research.

• Invited as Resource Person in “Two Days Workshop on Industry and Relations”. The Training Programme was jointly organized by Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) and Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University at GNLU Campus during 20 and 21 November, 2017. 
• Invited as a Resource Person in one week Faculty Development Program (General) organised by Knowledge Consortium Of Gujarat, Department of Education, Government of Gujarat, KCG, Ahmedabad from 03rd to 08th December, 2018.
