Job Profile
  • Initiate files in time where orders of the higher authorities are required.
  • Up-keep of all the files and records.
  • Preparation of noting and drafting the letters and computer work.
  • Initiate various proposals and prepare drafts and submit the same to the higher authorities for consideration and approval in a time bound manner.
  • Assisting the HOD in drafting letters, putting up items with suitable notes, precedents, etc.
  • Maintain personal register & maintain student as well as faculty details records.
  • Process admission related work and to handle the queries of parents as well as students till the admission procedure gets over.
  • Arrange for purchase of stationery, equipment, etc as per requirement. Maintain all office records including stock register.
  • Receive and deliver the letters and circulars from the authorities to all the employees of the faculty/ department/centre.
  • Provide all data that are required by the authorities of the university or department in time.
  • Maintain confidentiality of exam related work.
  • Process of results and preparation and issue of certificates.
  • Issue of certificates such as bonafide certificates, admission orders or any other certificates which is required as per the need of the students.
  • Arrangement for transport and ticket booking whenever required.
  • For salary purpose, recording and scrutiny of the leaves of the Staff as well as Faculties in a software and checking their attendance manually at the end of the month. 
  • Payment and process of TA/DA and honorarium to external experts who visit for some academic purpose.
