About Centre for Labour Laws

The GNLU Centre for Labour Laws is established with the prime objective of aiding in securing the rights of every workperson in every industrial sector. It aims to invest in the enhancement of both academic and empirical, grassroot-level research that shall focus on the relationship between an employer and employee. The Centre is not limited by its aim and shall use its platform as a robust foundation to take up capacity-building initiatives such as raising awareness about the rights of workmen, assessing the working environment of various industries and bridging the gap between the legislative intent and its practical application.
