I’ve been a part of this centre since my second year in college. I joined the Centre to understand this dynamic field which the constitutional law stands to be, owing to its ever evolving nature; however, I developed an appetite for the subject and came to the understanding that one can only divulge more and more into the theories and modern judgments based around it once you’ve started to read. My research skills improved by far while researching and reading for article to the yearly magazine about judicial over-reach and judicial activism, as I have been a lot more in touch with the current developments as I would have been before.

CCAL is a centre which not only gives its student members opportunities for research & publications, but also ensures holistic exposure by organizing lectures and interactive forums with luminaries in the field of Constitutional and Administrative Law. Organizing and being a part of the judgment writing, essay writing and poster making competitions of CCAL have been the most fulfilling for me in my 4 years as a Centre Member.

Being a part of CCAL has opened my eyes to various perspectives of constitutional and administrative law, which I do not think I would have thought about outside the four walls of classroom teaching. The centre's essay writing competitions, annual publication, and research projects have greatly enriched my understanding of the subject.

CCAL gave me the opportunity to explore Constitutional and Administrative Law in depth and form comprehensive opinions on the intricate implications of landmark judgements, being a part of the Judgment Analysis Series. The sessions conducted for constructive criticism of recent judgments helped me expand my knowledge and understanding far beyond the scope of course syllabus and classroom lectures.
