Message from the desk of Head, Training Division

The Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Gandhinagar, (, one of the premier National law University of India, emerged as the Research Based Teaching University, with concerted focus on Interdisciplinary Research, Impact Publications, Training and Extension programs for policy-makers and executives across the nation and world.

GNLU believe that Training and development is the continual process of managing your learning and work to progress through your life. It includes gaining and using the skills and knowledge you need to plan and make informed decisions about education, training and work.

Since its inception, the University has been pioneer in organizing number of Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Training Programs, Certificate Courses, Symposium at National and International level for different stakeholders which includes national/international Students from different Universities, Academician, Law firms, Practitioners, Judges, Professionals, Industrialist, Bureaucrats and Personnel’s. The University had achieved commendable success in inviting the diverse pool of intellect, eminent resource persons and participants from across the globe, including US, UK, China, Germany, Japan, Mauritius, Turkey and many other Countries.

The division also provides research based training services to various Department of the Central Government and Government of various States, Public Undertaking and Government Companies such as ONGC, Power-grid Corporation of India, Reserve Bank of India and many others to highlight the Governments initiative in the implementation of various policies, projects, growth and development of new & emerging technology areas. GNLU is also proactive in its initiatives to promote innovative, constructive and result oriented progressive training programme for the promotion of legal education and acts as a medium to make Government-Citizen Interface more effective, transparent and efficient.

With so many choices, it can be challenging to know what direction you should take so the GNLU Training Division provides a range of training and development Programmes that can help you reach your goals, whether you’re thinking about taking your first steps into the world of work, looking for a career change or striving for bigger and better things in your current occupation.

GNLU Training Division is making its constant effort to reach to the Vision and Mission of the University to transfer or modify knowledge, skills and attitudes, levels of competence and respond to the demands of changing circumstances. Training by itself cannot solve structural, organizational, or policy problems, although supportive supervision and the use of motivational strategies can help sustain performance improvement derived from training.
