The Gujarat Law Journal (GLJ) started in 2011, as a part of Sapta-Dhara Research Initiative of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2011. GLJ is a bi-annual, peer-reviewed Journal having an ISSN number. It provides a dedicated platform to express views on topical legal issues, thereby generating interplay of ideas on emerging matters and issues.
This platform is also destined at generating and acknowledging the initiative and desire of young law students, academicians, lawyers, and legal advisors to contribute in the field of law and at society at large. The purpose of the Journal is to report quality research, develop theory and explore new perspective on different issues and challenges prevailing in the society.
The Journal offers an avenue for high-quality empirical and theoretical scholarly work with an interdisciplinary approach towards law. In the present globalized scenario, it is necessary for such an approach so that people from varied fields of academia can understand the importance, impact, and the image of law as it can affect the community at large. In nutshell, GLJ provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and constructive debate on legal, interdisciplinary and policy-related issues surrounding us.
