Started in 2011, as a part of Sapta-Dhara Research Initiative of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2011, the Gujarat Law Journal is bi-annual, peer reviewed with ISSN number journal, that provides dedicated platform to express views on topical legal issues, thereby generating a cross current of ideas on emerging matters and substances. This platform also ignites the initiative and desire of young law students, academicians, lawyers and legal advisors to contribute in the field of law and at society at large. The purpose of the Journal is to report quality research, develop theory and explore new perspective on different issues and challenges prevail in the society.
The Journal offers an avenue for high-quality empirical and theoretical scholarly work at the intersection of law with other faculty. In the present globalized scenario, it is necessary for people belonging to other fields as well to understand the importance, impact, and the image of law as it can affect the community at large. In nutshell, GLJ provides a form for the exchange of ideas and constructive debate on legal, interdisciplinary and policy related issues which are surrounding us.
