About Centre

Introduction:

Financial Laws constitute the foundational pillars not only for the Indian economy but also for the world economy. Financial Regulation is aimed at ensuring a delicate balance between facilitating investment on the one hand and the welfare of public on the other at the international, regional as well as national level. Banks and Financial Institutions are an integral part of any economy. Several policy initiatives and legislative amendments have changed the role of banks and financial institutions from being mere financial institutions to agents of social change. Similarly, Market infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) too play immense role in the economic development of a nation and greatly contribute of empowerment of people, if optimally regulated. Further, other set of financial laws constitute the regulatory ecosystem which channelize the development of a nation to the objectives enshrined in the Preamble of Indian Constitution.
