GLIC organized 4th National B Plan Competition
On 16th February, 2019, at GNLU campus, GLIC organized 4th National B Plan Competition, Exuberance-2019 as a part to boost the startup ecosystem across India.
Total 19 Teams/Individuals participated and presented their ideas in front of judge’s panel. Each team was given 5 minutes for presenting and 2 minutes for question and answers by judges.
Innovative Ideas like Dhobi.com- which acts as mediator between customers and dhobis, Lensits- innovative NBFC, Jalaj Books- eBook publishing in the domain of law, SWC- providing ride, stay and food under one roof to travellers, SHoonya- Youtube music channel for aspiring singers and performers etc were presented in a full day event.
Judges for the event were Mr Jatin Chaudhary, Co-founder of eChaai, Mr Yash Shah, Co founder of Gridle.com and Mr Ankit Shah, CA and expert in financial domain. Mr U T Rao, Associate Professor and Chair of MICA Incubator and has co founded several startups in field of Media, Healthcare, technology and education, shared his kind presence as Chief Guest.
The idea who won the first prize was RegMaster, presented by Hatim Hussain, 4th Year Student, GNLU. The idea is to develop an easy to navigate, automatically updated, online tool to help Fintech firms understand, compare and keep track of changing regulations more easily, affordably and efficiently. He was provided by winner trophy, certificate of merit and will be rewarded by cash prize of Rs 25,000/-
Idea at second position was Miss EBS, presented by Bhumika Jaggi, Epil Gagrai and Shubhi Khantal from Madhya Pradesh. Idea was to solve problem of menstrual emergencies to prevent women from facing embarrassment. Team was provided by first runner-up trophy, certificate of merit and will be rewarded by cash prize of Rs 15,000/-
And the idea at third position was Agriore, by Anshu Kumar, currently pursuing MBA in financial management and business law from GNLU. Helping, supporting and educating farmers by agriculture experts using technology enabling farmers to produce the product which has high demand in market. He was provided by Second runner-up trophy, certificate of merit and will be rewarded by cash prize of Rs 10,000/-
Felicitation of winners and participants was done by Dr R K Singh, Dean, Faculty and Academic affairs.
