“Law Briefs launched its first eBook on Amazon Kindle”

On 14th February, 2019, Law Briefs launched and eBook titled 'The Landmark Corruption Trial in India' which is based on the famous disproportionate asset case of Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Late Shri J. Jayalalithaa. The said eBook is available on Amazon Kindle. Mr Aditya Gor, student of Gujarat National Law University has been incubated at GNLU Legal Incubation Council (GLIC) under Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) scheme of Government of Gujarat since two years for his startup ‘Law Briefs’ (https://lawbriefs.in/ ). It is a legal service platform that prepares case summaries of lengthy and difficult judgement. In order to make the understanding clear, Law Briefs divide the entire judgement into various parts which includes- Briefs and Facts and Procedural History, Issues before the Court, Arguments raised, Ratio and decision of the court. They also provide a quick introduction to the judgement in form of an introductory table which acts as a reference tool for lawyers.

The startup has also been awarded by Honorable CM Shri Vijay Rupaiji as one of the top 5 best student startups under SSIP Policy across the state in September 2018.

Law Briefs is at early revenue generation stage. It is planning to launch two more eBooks by the end of February 2019.
