About Delhi Skating Community (DSC)

Delhi Skating Community (DSC) is a grassroots collective founded in October 2022 by Nishchal Singh (GNLU Batch of 2020). What began as a passion project has since grown into a vibrant community of over 9,000 skaters across Delhi, dedicated to promoting an inclusive and accessible street skating culture in India.

Built on a free-for-all, open-to-all philosophy, DSC welcomes skaters of all ages and skill levels and regularly hosts community skating sessions across Delhi.

Beyond skating, DSC also runs Rolling Hearts Project in collaboration with the New Delhi District Magistrate’s Office - an initiative that brings skating, music, and joy to underprivileged children while promoting well-being and community engagement. Through this initiative, over 100 children across various Child Care Institutes in Delhi have been trained.

GNLU Observes Mental Health Day; Wellness Carnival to be Held on 14 October 2025

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) marked World Mental Health Day with a series of engaging and meaningful activities under the banner of the GNLU Wellness Initiative Cell (GWIC). The celebrations aimed to promote awareness, empathy, and the importance of mental well-being within the University community.

As part of today’s celebrations, students enthusiastically participated in several wellness-oriented activities, including:

  • Musical Chairs – 6:30 PM onwards at the Snakes and Ladders Area, where students, faculty, and staff came together for a joyful and light-hearted activity.
  • Gratitude Board – 8:00 PM onwards at the Mess Area, where participants shared notes of appreciation for people, experiences, and moments that make GNLU special, leaving kind messages for one another.

In addition, Wellness Badges were distributed to students across the campus to symbolize collective support for mental health, empathy, and togetherness.

Furthering these initiatives, GNLU will host a Wellness Carnival on 14 October 2025, designed to remind everyone that well-being also means slowing down, connecting, and sharing moments of laughter and gratitude together.

These activities reflect GNLU’s continued commitment to creating a compassionate, inclusive, and mindful campus environment that prioritizes the well-being of every member of its community.

The events are organized under the leadership of the GNLU Wellness Initiative Cell (GWIC) as part of its mission to nurture emotional resilience, empathy, and a culture of care at the University.
