Gujarat National Law
University (GNLU), in collaboration with the Government of
Gujarat and partnering with World Trade Institute in hosting the
3rd Annual GNLU International Moot
Court Competition, an international legal event that promises
to be one of the biggest in the Indian subcontinent.
Since the very beginning, the
University has left an indelible mark in the world of Moot Court
Competitions, having a series of remarkable achievements to its
name. At GNLU, we wish to host this competition with a view of
expanding our academic horizons.
The Competition is brought
forward as a result of seamless integration of the efforts of the
judiciary, bar and the academia. GNLU intends to make the moot an
annual event, garnering participation from the
national and the international legal fraternities, with the
objective of providing a credible platform to talented law students
to measure their legal acumen and verbal capacity.
The competition will
serve as a definitive test of the legal proficiency and dexterity of
competing teams as come to be appraised by intuitive and widely
acclaimed judges.
The Competition will feature
participation from legal luminaries who are at the fore of their
academic and corporate spheres, with an aim to provide opportunities
to other participants for interaction and networking. The Moot Court
Competition also envisages discussions and lectures by the legal
experts.
We hope to make this
Competition a success with a vision to raise the bar for such events
in the future.
