The library functions and services are fully automated with state-of-the-art LMS software and latest RFID/EM technology. The library catalogue is a gateway to the holdings of the library, which is accessible via the intranet and the Internet. Starting from the first day of orientation, the library provides reference services primarily to the Students, Faculty members, Research Scholars and others in the academic community. It provides current awareness (CAS), Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI), literature search and bibliography compilation services to the users.

Turnitin is similarity checking and plagiarism prevention web tool which allows researchers to compare their contents against the massive databases to ensure the work is original before the submission. It gives instructors the tools to engage students in their writing process and provide personalised feedback and plagiarism check. Turnitin is used by more than 30 million students in 15000 institutes in 150 countries.
GNLU Library has a paid license to this tool. To get the similarity/plagiarism checking done and have the similarity report generated, please write to us at library@gnlu.ac.in or checkdiss@gnlu.ac.in along a soft copy of the document (i.e. thesis, dissertation, article, projects, assignment etc.) to be checked in PDF, DOCX file format.
