About
Us:
The Alumni Association at GNLU established with the mission to reach, serve and
engage GNLU alumni and to encourage them, is a young and vibrant Association. The
GNLU Alumni Association’s objective is to organize events, programmes and services
to build a strong Alumni network, create opportunities to renew social ties,
to remain connected to the most current academic knowledge and to build
professional networks.
Objectives:

To promote solidarity and
friendship among former students and keep their connection with the Alma Mater
alive.

To Increase
awareness and impact of GNLU in India

To act as a link and involve more alumni and students in the activities
of GNLU.

To provide opportunities for alumni to socialize with each other.

To encourage alumni contribution towards the
fulfilling of the GNLU Vision.

To improve Academic Collaboration

To improve Professional network

To strengthen resources and create more volunteer leaders.

To Create a virtual Alumni Association

To coordinate local alumni
activities and events.
Distinguished Alumnus Award:
The association has instituted two awards per
year from an endowment created especially for this purpose.
1)
Best Alumni Award (Academic)
2)
Best Alumni Award (Contribution to GNLU)
The distinguished Alumnus
Awards will be announced on the Foundation Day of the University i.e, 17th July
of every year to the alumni on the basis of merit, contributions and
achievements and the Award will be distributed on the Annual Alumni Meet Day.
Annual Alumni Meet:
There will be an annual Alumni Meet in the last week of December of every year.
Alumni Fund:
The GNLU Alumni Association shall raise and generate it’s own financial
resources and maintain it’s accounts in a transparent manner. Any alumni or
any member of GNLU may voluntarily contribute to the Alumni fund.
Activities:

The association plans to hold lectures,
seminars, workshops, cultural activities and musical meets from time to time.

It also plans to bring out a
news bulletin at regular intervals.
